Fall has finally arrived in Los Angeles (yay!), temperatures are dropping and we’re overdosing on black wardrobe staples. So, to not get too basic and fall into old habits we’re mixing it up with all of the colors we’ve shared with you over the past months. Lovely light gray cashmere sweaters, cranberry & rusty red accessories and fairytale like embroideries on scarves and skirts.
But, if you’re out of cash and thirsty for ideas on how to use the pieces you’ve already got (ReloadEvolve remember!) look no further than your basics. We’ve turned to New York, cool town masters Emerson Fry for some inspiration on how to liven up your saturated black staples without losing a single trend star.
White long sleeves with a black short sleeve on top paired with your favourite washed out denim jeans and a classic leather sandal. You’ll get a masculine, structured look while femailing it up with a pair of heels, soft shiny hair and nude-pink lip.
The dress on pants look up to date with a sporty vibe from an over sized t-shirt dress. (Net Pullover Dress by Emerson Fry from the picture). Right on trend! The pants can be a pair of black jeans even here, but to balance the sporty top, we prefer a more classic legging like this one with a contour seam. Finish off with your best over knee boots and you’re good to go! Stylish and warm.
The midi skirt in action! Lets be honest, its not hard to pull this off. It just sounds hard. How gorgeous with such a simple black, boat neck tee. Bring your block heel pumps to work and rock with a nice statement ring. Classic, on trend and paired with a smile like in this picture. You’ll get the job!
